Job summary

Easygo is seeking a visionary engineering leader to guide multiple squads in delivering scalable, high-quality software. You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and collaborate across product, design, and operations to drive growth in a fast-paced entertainment technology platform.

You will own end-to-end engineering practices, from architecture to production reliability, while fostering a culture of learning and delivery excellence in Australia’s rapidly expanding tech scene.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Proven track record managing multiple squads of engineers.
• Experience developing and executing strategic plans for engineering initiatives.
• Significant experience mentoring engineers and tech leads.
• Experience solving complex technical and organisational challenges.
• Understanding of scalable systems and modern development practices.
• Strong communication with leaders from other departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple engineering squads to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members to grow technically and professionally.
• Provide a clear strategic vision and ensure cohesive teamwork.
• Contribute hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, and incident escalations.
• Establish delivery excellence practices for scalable processes.
• Promote learning from challenges and celebrate team successes.
