Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Systems Delivery team across the APAC region, based in Melbourne or Sydney. You will oversee engineering delivery, performance coaching, customer service, budgeting, and scheduling for gaming technology systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience working with operating systems, databases, networking, and computer hardware/software.
• In-depth knowledge of networking infrastructure, topology, client/server software, including OBDC databases, SQL server, Oracle and/or DB2.
• Knowledge of functional testing tools, Selenium and JIRA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines with balance among priorities.
• Ability to read/write/speak English sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting engineering delivery systems, tools, and processes.
• Establish team objectives and KPI’s and hold the team accountable to these performance goals.
• Provide technical guidance on gaming systems and gaming interfaces, including online, progressive, EFT, mobile, igaming.
• Own and continuously improve engineering delivery processes with scalable workflows.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify automation opportunities that improve productivity.
• Collaborate with QA, Compliance, and Delivery Management to improve delivery outcomes.
• Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements applicable to operations.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
