The role will also provide hands‑on engineering support to projects and site activities as required. Travel will form part of the position and may include occasional overnight stays and, at times, extended periods away from home.

Provide technical guidance to drafting, workshop, service, operations and project teams.

Review customer specifications, tender requirements and design risks before commitments are made.

Support the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues and recurring equipment failures.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with local and international OEMs, manufacturers, generator suppliers and technical partners.

Coordinate external engineers, consultants, certifiers, designers and fabricators where required.

Ensure engineering solutions consider safety, compliance, maintainability, transportability and operational practicality.

Manage engineering priorities, workloads and deliverables to support project schedules and business requirements.

Support continuous improvement of asset designs, standard builds, technical documentation, document control and quality systems.

Identify and report engineering risks, resource constraints and improvement opportunities to senior management.
