Refactor Recruitment Pty Ltd – Gold Coast QLD is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead an established engineering team and take ownership of a growing digital marketplace platform. You’ll shepherd architecture, reliability and security while aligning technical decisions with commercial goals.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern (2 days per week in office) with relocation assistance and a genuine opportunity to influence product direction and platform modernization.

Qualifications

• Proven Engineering Manager experience in product-led tech, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Lead an established, distributed engineering team and own platform delivery.
• Drive progressive modernisation of the platform.
• Translate commercial priorities into engineering decisions.
• Work across modern web technologies, cloud and APIs.
• Own architecture, reliability, security and engineering quality.
• Manage integrations across multiple business-critical platforms.
• Work closely with Product to turn ideas into shipped outcomes.
• Provide a clear engineering perspective to senior stakeholders.
