Western Power is inviting graduates in Electrical, Electronics, Communications or Civil Engineering to join a two-year program designed to expose them to a broad range of operations through four six-month rotations.

Successful completion triggers permanent appointment and opportunities to apply engineering skills in an operational setting while pursuing professional registration and development.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with Electrical, Electronics, Communications or Civil discipline recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Enthusiastic approach to learning opportunities and feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Constructive behaviours aligned with Western Power values.
  • Motivation and commitment to complete the graduate program.
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace.
  • Residency: WA residents who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold a valid working visa.

Responsibilities

  • Gain broad understanding of Western Power’s operations through rotational exposure across the business.
  • Participate in a two-year graduate program with 4 x 6-month rotations and potential permanent appointment on successful completion.
  • Develop and apply engineering knowledge in an operational capacity and work toward professional registration.
