Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Digital and Data Products within Group Technology. You will lead a portfolio of engineering data products, including workforce mobility, maintenance optimisation and the engineering data platform, assuring secure, scalable production services.

You will partner with engineering leaders and external partners to transform how Qantas Engineering uses technology and data, turning ideas into measurable operational value while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading technology products from discovery to production services.
• Proven track record delivering measurable business or operational outcomes.
• Vendor-management experience with partners, manufacturers or enterprise vendors.
• Experience developing data platforms or data products for reporting, analytics and AI/ML use cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead emerging products from discovery and value proof to secure, scalable production services.
• Collaborate with Engineering leaders, frontline teams, tech partners to improve availability, maintenance productivity and safety.
• Build trusted data foundations for analytics, optimisation and future AI/ML use cases.
• Embed safety, cyber security, privacy, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
