Job summary

Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority – Melbourne VIC is seeking an Advisor, Engineering to provide technical support across planning, procurement and delivery phases of major health capital projects. You will work with hospitals and stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions meet Australian Standards and best practice.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and adherence to government standards in a dynamic health infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Assess risks and provide practical, outcome‑focused recommendations.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver projects, engage stakeholders, and proactively manage risks.
• Be highly organised, prioritise effectively and deliver results in complex environments.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support throughout planning, procurement and delivery phases of major health capital projects.
• Ensure engineering solutions align with Australian Standards, industry best practice and emerging trends.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, prepare communications and meeting materials, and facilitate meetings and follow‑ups.
