Job summary

Talent International is recruiting a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Sydney (can be based in Newcastle or Wollongong). This is a 6-week contract, paying between $500 to $600 per day + Super.

The opportunity will involve coordinating meetings, engagement events, workshops and consultations, preparing correspondence and reports, and maintaining stakeholder lists and reporting registers.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating meetings and events.
• Experience maintaining contact lists and reporting registers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, engagement events, workshops and consultation sessions, including bookings, invitations and attendance tracking.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting notes and presentation materials.
• Maintain stakeholder contact lists, engagement databases and reporting registers.
• Monitor shared mailboxes, respond to general enquiries and refer complex matters to the appropriate team member.
• Help distribute newsletters, letters and digital updates, and record community feedback for reporting.
• Process invoices, purchase orders and supplier documentation in line with established procedures.
• Support training, compliance and risk activities, and maintain equipment and PPE records.
