St Francis of Assisi Primary Glendenning in Glendenning NSW is seeking 2x Permanent Full-time Classroom Teachers for the 2027 school year. The roles involve delivering developmentally appropriate lessons within a Catholic education setting and aligning with NSW standards.

You will design engaging learning experiences, assess student progress, and maintain safe, inclusive classrooms. The successful applicants will meet NSW WWCC, NESA eligibility, and related accreditation requirements set by CSPD.

Qualifications

• Compliance with NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
• Eligibility according to NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree).
• Religious Education qualifications, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Design developmentally appropriate lessons meeting students’ physical, social and intellectual needs.
• Strong understanding of curriculum content and learning sequences, including Religious Education.
• Skilled in applying effective teaching strategies that make learning meaningful.
• Ability to create safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
• Consistent and fair behaviour management practices.
• Able to use assessment data to identify learning needs and improve student outcomes.
