Jacobs in Melbourne is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the Melbourne CBD. You will lead end-to-end delivery of major IT infrastructure initiatives across Waterfall and Agile environments, managing Fixed Price and Time & Material contracts in a hybrid setup.

The role requires an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one), strong stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Office

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects across hybrid environments.
• Active AGSVA Baseline Clearance or eligible to obtain one.
• Proven ability applying both Waterfall and Agile delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Office 365, and PPPM platforms (Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Experience delivering Fixed Price and Time & Material projects.
• Willingness to work on-site in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week.

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract based in the Melbourne CBD. In this role, you will lead end‑to‑end delivery of key infrastructure initiatives across both Waterfall and Agile environments, managing projects across Fixed Price and Time & Material (T&M) delivery models in a flexible hybrid arrangement.

• Drive project schedules, scope, risk, and resource management using hybrid (Waterfall & Agile) frameworks.

Skills & Experience

• Technical Experience: Strong background delivering complex IT Infrastructure projects.
• Security Clearance: Must hold an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance, or be an Australian Citizen eligible and willing to obtain one.
• Methodologies: Proven track record applying both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Software Tools: High proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office 365. Experience with PPPM platforms (Dynamics 365 preferred) is highly advantageous.
• Commercial Expertise: Hands‑on experience delivering both Fixed Price and Time & Material projects.
• Workplace Preference: Ability to work on‑site in Melbourne CBD 3 days per week.

Employment Details

• Location: Melbourne CBD (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
• Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 pkg (Inc. Super)
• Contract: 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

Essential Requirements

Experience delivering complex infrastructure or maritime projects, five or more years, preferably live, operational or high‑compliance environments. Strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, commercial acumen, and communication skills are essential.
