Job summary

AusNet Services in Melbourne is seeking a Training Specialist to establish and maintain a structured, auditable training and competency program across Electricity Distribution Control, Gas Control, and Gas and Electricity Dispatch as part of the Distribution Control & Operations team.

This role reports to the Manager, Operations Performance and offers hybrid work while contributing to workforce readiness and capability uplift across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating technical or competency based training in a regulated or safety critical environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, schedules and priorities.
• Experience developing training frameworks, learning plans, competency pathways and auditable records.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent, with energy, utilities or operational experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational training frameworks, competency pathways and role based learning plans.
• Coordinate training delivery, Controller authorisations and reauthorisations across Control & Operations.
• Partner with operational leaders and subject matter experts to uplift training content and address capability gaps.
• Maintain accurate training records and report on progress, priorities, risks and workforce readiness.
