CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training Team in a full-time, permanent capacity. You will deliver initial and refresher technical training, assess competency, and support apprentice and industry professional development.

We are seeking experienced Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training Team and work directly with our frontline Field Services workforce. This role will be employed in a full time and permanent capacity.
You will deliver initial and refresher technical training programs, conduct competency-based assessments and support the development of apprentices and industry professionals. You will also work closely with external training providers and internal stakeholders to ensure training is delivered to a consistently high standard.
This is a critical role in the design, coordination, delivery of technical training programs across CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy.
The role will work collaboratively with other business areas and industry partners and may, from time to time, provide support to apprentice training at Holmesglen. You will also work with teams such as Works Practices to support audit activities, maintain works practice documentation and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical trade background and extensive electricity distribution experience, combined with previous experience in training, assessment or coaching.
You will be a confident communicator, an effective stakeholder manager and someone who demonstrates a strong safety-first mindset.
