Job summary

ATCO is seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Lead to translate customer requirements into safe, practical and commercially viable energy solutions. You will work across the full opportunity lifecycle, from early engagement through to proposal submission and handover to delivery.

In this role you will build relationships with customers, lead the development of innovative energy solutions, contribute to business development, prepare technical documentation and cost estimates, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with experience developing technical solutions in the energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of thermal and renewable energy technologies, hybrid power systems, energy storage and gas infrastructure.
• Proven experience developing customer proposals, technical submissions, cost estimates and commercially viable project solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to evaluate technologies and suppliers, manage project risks and translate customer requirements into practical, executable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand objectives, technical requirements and commercial drivers.
• Lead development and documentation of innovative energy solutions from concept through to proposal submission.
• Support business development through technical engagement, workshops, and solution discussions.
• Prepare technical documentation, scopes, cost estimates and bid submissions for project outcomes.
• Assess emerging technologies and delivery models to strengthen market offering and value proposition.
• Collaborate across engineering, procurement, finance and project delivery teams to develop practical solutions and ensure smooth handover to delivery.
