Job summary

Transgrid in Australia is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to join the Regulatory Strategy team and help shape the regulatory and policy frameworks underpinning Australia's energy future. You will support regulatory strategy through research, analysis, financial and regulatory modelling, and stakeholder engagement across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.

The role offers opportunities to influence policy and contribute to major submissions in a dynamic energy sector.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in research, analysis, modelling or technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake research, analysis and regulatory modelling to support strategic regulatory decisions and submissions.
• Contribute to revenue proposals, RINs, RIT‑Ts and policy submissions.
• Prepare briefing papers, reports and evidence‑based recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver key regulatory milestones.
