Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Pricing and Regulations Analyst to support the preparation of revenue, expenditure and pricing inputs for ERA submissions and for Access Arrangements revisions. The role focuses on financial modelling, regulatory frameworks and robust evidence for decision making.

You will contribute to investment proposals, forecast accuracy and the development of pricing strategies, working with executives and external consultants to ensure credibility and alignment with regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in regulated enterprise, energy sector, regulatory authority, or consulting in investment/regulatory analysis.
• Knowledge of economic regulatory frameworks, access codes and access arrangements.
• Experience developing information to support an Access Arrangement submission or regulatory price review.
• Strong report writing and interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on preparation of investment proposals, revenue and pricing information and forecasts for ERA submissions.
• Prepare and defend pricing information and forecasts for ERA submissions.
• Coordinate evidence to support regulatory financial parameters and funding requirements.
• Review and develop pricing strategies for reference tariffs and price lists for ERA submissions.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and projects within the regulatory analytics function.
