Job summary

Stanwell is seeking a Portfolio Coordinator for a 6-month fixed-term opportunity at Tarong Power Stations in Queensland. The role focuses on improving portfolio management, ensuring reliable delivery of projects and acting as the key communication point for stakeholders about project metrics and schedule integrity.

Key activities include maintaining controls, challenging execution plans, overseeing portfolio performance and documenting changes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management and schedule control experience.
• Understanding budgets, forecasting and variance analysis for projects and portfolio plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6 software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure portfolio controls and processes align with objectives and governance.
• Advise and challenge project execution plans and provide direction to Project/Portfolio Managers.
• Maintain portfolio oversight, analyze the portfolio and coordinate project control issues.
• Monitor variations to project plans and manage scope changes and urgent work within budget.
• Process project documentation including PIAs, business cases, change requests and post-implementation reviews.
