Job summary

Transgrid is seeking a Manager Policy and Advocacy to shape regulatory strategy, lead policy programs, and represent the company in industry forums across national and NSW energy frameworks.

You will drive policy outcomes, build relationships with regulators, government and industry stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful regulatory positions and submissions that support the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, or strategy across National and NSW energy frameworks.
• Experience leading complex policy, regulatory or strategic programs.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and credibility with regulators, government and industry stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing capability.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex issues into practical business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transgrid’s positions on energy, market and regulatory matters.
• Prepare high-quality submissions, reports and advocacy materials, and internal briefing notes.
• Provide expert advice to support strategic decision-making.
• Build relationships with regulators, government and industry stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver policy outcomes.
