Job summary

Network Energy Services in Melbourne is seeking a proactive graduate or early-career professional to join our Embedded Network technical operations team. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to electricity metering, embedded networks, market systems and energy data, while developing practical technical, commercial and operational skills.

This role provides training, a Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to take ownership of tasks as you grow, with support from experienced colleagues and opportunities

Qualifications

• University graduate or early in career seeking a professional environment
• Willingness to learn and develop skills across energy industry processes
• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of electricity metering installations and related works
• Work with metering providers, energy retailers, engineers, principals and contractors
• Track the progress of projects
• Order meters and equipment and prepare purchase orders
• Work across energy market platforms, ordering portals, billing software and energy management systems
• Maintain accurate customer, meter and site information
• Investigate metering, billing and data issues
• Analyse information and prepare reports
• Assist with electricity pricing comparisons, tendering and contract administration
• Respond to customers and industry partners by phone and email
• Support the wider technical team with projects and day‑to‑day operations
