Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy unit on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. You will provide quality care for patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and share knowledge with less-experienced staff.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated awareness of and involvement in quality and risk management activities.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality care to patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures. Includes pre/intra and post procedure care.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with other health professionals in the delivery of health care including preparing patients for discharge.
• Working to ensure continuous quality improvement and abiding by risk management guidelines.
