Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy unit on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. You will provide quality care for patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures, with pre/intra and post procedure support.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
• Ability to mentor and share knowledge with less-experienced staff.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Awareness of and involvement in quality and risk management activities.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality care to patients undergoing Endoscopy and minor procedures (pre/intra and post procedures).
• Working within a multidisciplinary team with other health professionals; preparing patients for discharge.
