Job summary
The Day Procedures Unit at Greenslopes Private Hospital is expanding, with multiple permanent opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Endoscopy Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, supportive clinical environment while enjoying family-friendly working hours.
Shifts are available Monday to Friday, across mornings and afternoons, with no night shifts or weekend work. You will work alongside a highly regarded team of surgeons, nurses and support staff,
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 12 months post-graduate experience in Endoscopy.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for endoscopy patients.
- Prepare patients, complete pre-procedure assessments and document accurately.
- Assist during endoscopic procedures within scope of practice.
- Monitor patients before, during and after procedures and escalate as needed.
- Provide post-procedure care and safe discharge per protocols.
- Maintain infection prevention and control and equipment handling.
- Communicate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with policies.
