Job summary

Western District Health Service is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Level 2) to join our Penshurst Campus team on a permanent full-time basis. You will deliver person-centred nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in a supportive rural setting.

Relocation support is available, including short-term shared accommodation, and there are opportunities for professional development within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality improvement and compassionate care.

• Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
• Commitment to safe, person-centred and evidence-based care.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with patients, residents, families and multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Support orientation, mentoring and preceptorship within the clinical environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Person-Centred Care

Deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care that supports positive health outcomes and quality of life for patients and residents.

Clinical Care Delivery

Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Work collaboratively with patients, residents, families and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.

Professional Practice

Maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in quality improvement activities and practise within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.

Leadership & Development

Support orientation, mentoring and preceptorship activities while acting as a positive role model within the clinical environment.

What You Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse


• Commitment to providing safe, person-centred and evidence-based care


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team


• Commitment to ongoing professional development


• Current Driver's Licence


• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
