West Gippsland Healthcare Group is seeking an enthusiastic Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join Andrews House Aged Care Facility in Trafalgar. The role is permanent part-time, up to 160 hours per fortnight, and offers a supportive, resident-focused team environment designed to deliver high-quality aged care.

The successful candidate will hold current AHPRA registration, demonstrate sound nursing skills, strong organisational ability, and effective communication with colleagues and residents.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and safe practice.
• Sound organisational skills with ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Well-developed medication delivery practises.
• Strong written and computer skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate constructively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• The role involves providing endorsed enrolled nursing care to residents in Andrews House Aged Care Facility.
• Deliver medications and participate in nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centred care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement initiatives.

ENDORSED ENROLLED NURSE Andrews House Aged Care Facility - Trafalgar Permanent part time, up to 160 hours per fortnight available Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement – IB68 ($38.13 p/h) > IB72 ($40.57 p/h) (excluding allowances) Opportunities currently exist for enthusiastic Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) with a passion for Aged Care to join our innovative and committed team. Our preferred candidates will have:

• Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.
• Sound organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Well-developed medication delivery practises.
• Sound written and computer skills.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with key stakeholders.

The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

• Knowledge of the national Aged Care standards.
• Recent clinical experience in a residential aged care facility.

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) may be required prior to commencement.
