Job summary

Datacom in Australia is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user IT services across Perth CBD. You will deliver hardware and software break/fix support, remote assistance, software deployment and relocation services, aligned to customer requirements.

Eligibility requires Australian citizenship. You will record interactions in the ITSM tool, ensure equipment is deployment-ready, and drive service improvements while adhering to SLAs and ITIL practices to maintain high customer

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer experience in end-user services.
• Ability to prioritise work to meet SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of laptops, desktops, printers, and mobility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain technical info clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent technical support in a high-paced environment.
• Help new users with IT hardware collection and setup.
• Ensure equipment is deployment-ready before release to customers.
• Record customer interactions in the ITSM tool.
• Keep customers updated on progress.
• Deliver services in line with SLAs using standard tools and processes.
• Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed.
• Initiate service and process improvements; follow ITIL practices.
