Job summary

Aurec Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced End User Support Specialist to join a forward-thinking ICT team supporting a Federal Government client. You will enable workforce productivity by delivering second-line support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and you will drive cloud adoption initiatives including Azure and M365.

You will configure operating systems, device imaging, and endpoint security, while assisting with patches, updates, and asset management in a complex

Qualifications

Experience in IT Support or End User Computing, preferably within a complex Federal Government or enterprise environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud environments, Windows OS, modern endpoint management, device imaging, and endpoint security tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and the capacity to deliver clear technical guidance to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality second-line technical support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Provision, configure, and maintain operating systems, endpoints, software, and imaging workflows.
Manage endpoint security measures and assist incident response and vulnerability mitigation.
Execute routine system updates, security patches, and upgrades per IT policies and standards.
Provide user training, create documentation, and support cloud adoption (Azure and M365).
Maintain IT asset management, lifecycle tracking, and software licensing with cross-functional teams.
