Job summary

Learning Links is seeking a part-time payroll administrator based at our Alexandria office to run fortnightly payroll end to end using Employment Hero and Paycat. You will set up time and attendance, keep rosters accurate and help managers stay compliant with STP, PAYG and salary packaging.

The role supports clinicians and education teams across services with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality and timely payslips for a 3-day weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll compliance including awards and EA.
• Hands-on pay run experience in cloud payroll systems such as Employment Hero/KeyPay.
• Experience setting up time and attendance and rostering rules for casual staff.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll end to end for fortnightly cycles in Employment Hero and Paycat.
• Stay compliant with STP, PAYG, superannuation and salary packaging.
• Manage pay rates, allowances and annual award increases.
• Set up time and attendance in Employment Hero and adjust rostering rules.
• Support rostering managers with templates, checks and troubleshooting.
• Assist staff with Employment Hero app use for payslips and leave requests.
• Explain pay queries and fix root causes of discrepancies.
