Job summary

Mulford Plastics Pty Ltd is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Finance team in Sydney. You will handle fortnightly and weekly payrolls for Australian and NZ entities, process timesheets, set up new staff, and manage payroll tax, superannuation, and related reconciliations.

The role demands a detail-oriented, reliable, and quick-learning professional with strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with payroll systems such as Green Tree or Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing is preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability and ability to learn quickly.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Fortnightly and weekly payroll calculations and processing for Australian and NZ entities.
• Process timesheets and set up new employees.
• Prepare and lodge payroll taxes, work cover and superannuation; handle PAYG.
• Month end and year end reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate payroll files and records; address payroll inquiries.
