Job summary

Marist180 is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Officer to lead end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing and oversee manual and automated payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.

You will collaborate with HR and admin to maintain payroll data, generate reports, and support system improvements across payroll and finance. The role requires strong knowledge of SCHADS Award and a minimum five years’ payroll experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• At least five years' payroll administration experience, preferably in residential care.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing in line with legislation and awards.
• Coordinate payroll data with HR and admin to ensure accurate timesheets and leave records.
• Prepare payroll reports and analyse data for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES, SCHADS Award and related regulations.
• Support year-end reconciliations and payroll system improvements.
