Navia Freight in Melbourne is seeking a customer-focused Export Operator to manage shipments from initial quote through to final delivery. This hands-on role collaborates with customers, carriers and overseas agents to ensure smooth, compliant operations.

You will coordinate bookings, documentation, invoicing and file management while maintaining profitability and a high level of service. Experience in Air/Sea freight and CW1 is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally across Air and Sea Freight.
• Strong knowledge of export operations, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with CW1 is essential and exposure to Impex/Exdoc systems is highly regarded.
• Experience preparing quotations and negotiating freight rates.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Managing Air and Sea Freight export shipments end-to-end.
• Coordinating bookings with carriers, co-loaders, transport providers, and depots.
• Preparing and processing export documentation, customs requirements, and shipping instructions.
• Monitoring shipments and providing proactive updates to customers and overseas agents.
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving operational issues.
• Sourcing and negotiating freight rates with carriers and suppliers.
• Preparing customer quotations and understanding buy/sell rates to maintain margins.
• Managing jobs from initial quote through to shipment completion and file closure.
• Ensuring accurate costing, invoicing, and recovery of additional charges where applicable.
• Contributing to service improvements and achieving operational KPIs.
