Job summary

ACCIONA COBRA JV seeks a Commissioning and Integration Specialist for the Central West Orana REZ project in Australia. You will lead EMS/SCADA commissioning activities, verify SCADA architecture, and coordinate FAT/SAT/IST with OEMs, ensuring integration with SAS, protection relays, meters, and weather stations.

Based on a bus-in, bus-out roster with camp-style accommodation (14 days on / 7 days off), you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable transmission infrastructure by

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Control/Automation engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years in substation commissioning, control systems, SCADA, or power system integration.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and utility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for EMS/SCADA, Plant Controller, and power plant communication systems.
• Verify installation and configuration of SCADA servers, RTUs, gateways, switches, firewalls, and historian systems.
• Review and validate SCADA architecture, topology, and network design; configure real-time monitoring, alarms, events, and reporting.
• Coordinate with OEM for FAT, SAT and IST testing and integration with SAS, protection relays, meters, weather stations, and control centers.
• Troubleshoot network and communication issues; conduct redundancy and failover testing of infrastructure.
