Job summary

ACCIONA, in joint venture with COBRA, seeks a Commissioning and Integration Specialist to lead EMS/SCADA commissioning activities for transmission projects in the Central West Orana region. You will verify SCADA/server configurations, coordinate FAT/SAT/IST with OEMs, and ensure seamless integration with SAS, relays and metering.

We require 5+ years in substation commissioning and a strong grasp of HV equipment, protection schemes and network design.

Qualifications

Must hold degree in Electrical/Control/Automation engineering.
Min 5+ years in substation commissioning, SCADA or power system integration.
Demonstrated knowledge of Australian standards and utility requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead commissioning activities for EMS, SCADA, Plant Controller, and power plant communication systems.
Verify installation and configuration of SCADA servers, RTUs, gateways, and historian systems.
Review and validate SCADA architecture, network design and communication topology.
Configure real-time monitoring, control, alarms, events and reporting functions.
Coordinate FAT, SAT and IST with OEM for EMS/SCADA design finalisation.
Ensure EMS/SCADA integration with SAS, protection relays, weather stations, and grid operators.
