Newcastle Anglican seeks a part-time Support Worker to assist individuals with disability to reach their goals. You will support daily living, medical needs, transport, and community activities, with a roaster across 7 days including sleepovers.

The role requires flexibility, good listening skills, and a proactive approach; Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable. Pre-employment checks and a valid driver’s licence are required, with part-time hours across a 7-day roster.

Qualifications

• Support households, medical health needs, attending community events and personal care.
• Flexible availability across 7 days, including weekends.
• Pre-employment medical, NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check and First Aid required.

Responsibilities

• Support household activities, medical and health needs, attending community events/activities, personal care, meal management, transport, communication, and managing emotions and behaviours.
