Job summary

Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety – Geebung QLD is hiring a Disability Support Worker (Residential Care Officer). You will support participants with daily living, health needs and independent living goals, applying trauma-informed approaches and PBS strategies.

Induction is mandatory, with ongoing accredited training and development. The role offers flexible shifts, reward-indicated wages as per the Disability and Forensic Services Award, and strong development

Qualifications

• Candidate must commit to two-week induction (23/11/26–04/11/26).
• Current Australian driver’s licence (C class) or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Disability Support completed.
• First Aid (within 3 years) and CPR (within 12 months) current or willing to obtain before induction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily household tasks for participants including meals, cleaning, and laundry.
• Assist participants with personal care, hygiene, and safe mealtimes.
• Support medication management, dosage accuracy, and health needs.
