Job summary

Mpower is seeking compassionate, resilient and committed Support Workers to join our Disability Services teams in Warrnambool, South West Victoria. In this hands-on role, you'll provide safe, person-centred support across SIL, individual supports and community programs.

You'll assist with daily living tasks, build confidence and independence, and help promote social inclusion. Flexible, casual shifts include evenings, weekends and public holidays, with training and career progression

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting children, young people and people living with disability.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and person-centred approaches.
• Reliable team member with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing disability support across Supported Independent Living (SIL), individual supports and community-based programs.
• Assisting with daily living tasks, routines and skill development.
• Supporting social inclusion, community participation and independence.
• Building positive and respectful relationships.
• Responding to behaviours of concern using therapeutic and person-centred approaches.
• Completing accurate documentation and case notes.
• Working across a 24/7 roster, including evenings, weekends, sleepovers, active nights and public holidays as required.
