Job summary

TAIHS is seeking a Wellbeing Worker to provide day-to-day intervention, case management and practical support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. The role focuses on safeguarding vulnerable children, strengthening parenting skills, and preventing escalation to crisis points.

The position supports families from a strengths-based perspective, building capability, wellbeing and connections to services.

Qualifications

• Holistic assessment of families' needs.
• Develop case plans and monitor progress.
• Advocate for appropriate services for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments and manage client needs.
• Monitor risks, develop and review case plans.
• Build connections with families using culturally informed practices.
