Job summary

Ozcare in Rockhampton is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support older Australians in aged care at home. You will deliver evidence-based assessments and tailored interventions to promote independence, safety and quality of life in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and clinical competency.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based OT services in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Assess and prescribe aids and mobility equipment to support independence.
• Perform home environmental assessments and recommend modifications to reduce falls risk.
• Assess mobility and functional capacity within home/community environments.
• Monitor progress through planned reviews and maintain ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, families and other health professionals to achieve outcomes.
