Job summary

Empire Group in Sydney is seeking a Lawyer with 2-3 PQE to join our Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team. You will advise clients on employment, workplace relations and safety matters, with exposure to advisory and some litigation.

Working closely with a Partner and an experienced team, you will build trusted client relationships and provide commercially focused solutions. The role offers a hybrid working model and strong mentoring and development opportunities.

Qualifications

2-3 years' post-admission experience in employment or workplace relations law.
Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Commercial and pragmatic approach to legal problem solving.
Ability to build trusted client relationships and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide employment and workplace relations advisory work.
Assist with workplace investigations and compliance matters.
Draft and negotiate employment agreements, policies and workplace documentation.
Advise on enterprise bargaining and industrial relations issues.
Support regulatory investigations and workplace disputes as needed.
