Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in employment law and industrial relations, gained in private practice, government or in-house.
• Strong academic credentials, communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience advising on workplace strategy, bargaining, disputes, compliance, litigation and employment aspects of major transactions.
• A curious, innovative mindset with an interest in AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on employment, industrial relations and workforce matters, including enterprise bargaining and workplace change.
• Advise and represent clients in employment and industrial disputes, including dismissal, general protections and bargaining matters.
• Provide practical advice on workplace compliance, including employment, discrimination, safety and payroll matters.
• Assist clients in dealings with workplace regulators and represent them in investigations, disputes and proceedings.
