Workskil Australia is seeking an Employment Coach at our Coburg site to help customers set and achieve career goals while meeting contractual requirements. You'll work with a supportive team of coaches, mentors and counsellors.

The role offers comprehensive training, opportunities to gain a Certificate IV in Community Services within 12 months, and a path to career progression in a not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to achieve individual targets and KPIs.
• Strong administration skills and IT literacy (data entry, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Typing speed 30 words per minute.

Responsabilités

• Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges.
• Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning.
• Prepare quality resumes, cover letters and supporting the job application process.
• Find suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocate on their behalf.
• Refer customers to housing, mental health and financial counselling.
• Provide additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment.
• Document customer information and progress accurately within Workskil Australia and Government systems.
