Job summary

genU/MatchWorks is seeking an Employment Coach to support people with disability and other barriers through the Inclusive Employment Australia program in Fairfield. You’ll build relationships, assess skills, and provide practical guidance to help participants achieve sustainable employment outcomes.

Working as part of a profit-for-purpose organisation, you’ll access salary packaging, extra leave, and discounts, while helping navigate training and supports to set vocational goals.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate required.
• Experience in customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy.

What you’ll do

As an Employment Coach in our Inclusive Employment Australia team you’ll:

• Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
• Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
• Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
• Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence

What you’ll bring

• Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders
• Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements
• A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Bonus points for

• Experience in a customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
