Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to provide expert ER advice, manage complex ER matters, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation. You will work with senior leaders, People Partners and Legal stakeholders to deliver compliant, fair and people-focused outcomes.

You will balance risk, compliance and employee experience, acting as a trusted advisor and contributing to organisational culture, ER strategy and HR

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Law or a related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act, discrimination, privacy and WHS legislation.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases and investigations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee and industrial relations advice to leaders, People Partners and key stakeholders.
• Lead complex employee relations cases, investigations, grievances and escalations through to resolution.
• Represent Goodstart in conciliation matters.
• Coach and develop leaders and People team members to strengthen employee relations capability and people practices.
• Identify compliance risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives across employee relations, policies and people processes.
