Job summary

Citation Group is seeking a senior HR and WHS Advisory professional to manage complex ER/IR cases across our top-tier clients in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll own grievances, investigations, and termination matters, while providing practical, business-focused guidance to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Advanced award literacy and confidence classifying roles and confirming pay compliance.
• Proven experience managing complex ER/IR cases end-to-end, with sound judgement on risk and escalation.
• Strong facilitation and training delivery skills.
• Clear, plain-English communicator who builds client trust and empathy.
• Structured written analysis with clear, implementable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare claim responses (e.g. FWC matters) and coordinate conciliation documentation.
• Deliver client training, webinars and facilitate implementation meetings.
• Act as a trusted advisor within significant client accounts, spotting where else we can add value.
• Maintain rigorous case documentation and milestone tracking.

What you'll be responsible for

You’ll be joining our HR and WHS Advisory team - the engine room of our organisation - delivering trusted, practical guidance to businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Here's what your days will look like:

• Own complex grievances, investigations and termination matters for our top-tier clients
• Provide robust, commercially focused workplace relations advice that mitigates legal and reputational risk
• Prepare claim responses (e.g. FWC matters) and coordinate conciliation documentation
