Job summary

Citation Legal in Australia seeks an Employment Law Practitioner with 2–4 years PAE to join our Legal Advisory team, reporting to a supervising Partner. Provide pragmatic, technically accurate advice to prestigious clients, draft policies and contracts, and conduct research.

Responsibilities

• Providing pragmatic, technically accurate legal advice to a range of valuable clients.
• Advising on and managing matters including restraint of trade, wrongful termination, discrimination and industrial disputes.
• Drafting workplace policies, employment contracts, enterprise agreements and other employment documentation.
• Preparing and amending written advice and correspondence for clients.
• Conducting legal research and supporting partners on complex matters.
• Contributing to business development as your profile grows.

• Conducting legal research and supporting partners on complex matters
• Contributing to business development as your profile and confidence grows

• 2–4 years PAE as an employment law practitioner (private practice or in-house considered)
• Strong drafting skills and an eye for detail without losing sight of the practical outcome
