Job summary

Chosen Family is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist an 18-year-old non-binary participant in North Bondi with community access and daily activities. You will provide person-centred, safe support and build trusting relationships while respecting autonomy.

Experience with psychosocial disability, autism, and complex mental health needs is valued. Flexibility in schedule and a willingness to follow established support plans are essential.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• WWCC required.
• Current First Aid Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Support the participant to access the community and engage in meaningful activities.
• Build a trusting, respectful relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Encourage participation in activities based on the participant's interests and goals.
