Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Systems Test Engineer for the Boeing Test Facility in Wacol, Brisbane. Your role involves EMI/EMC testing across defence programs, developing procedures and reports, and advising customers on mitigation strategies to ensure safety and compatibility of systems.

The position requires a tertiary engineering degree and 2+ years of related experience, with preferred MIL-STD-461/464 exposure.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years experience applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations.
• Desirable MIL-STD-461/464 experience and EMI/EMC testing in lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMI/EMC testing to meet customer requirements across defence and commercial programs.
• Develop Test Procedures and Test Reports.
• Advise on EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Perform EMI/EMC testing of hardware and software in lab and field environments to MIL-STD-461/464.
• Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
