Job summary

Watson Young Architects in Sydney is seeking a motivated Graduate of Architecture to join our team. You will support a range of projects from commercial to industrial under the guidance of our Senior Architect, contributing from concept through to documentation and delivery.

We welcome a full-time candidate but are open to flexible arrangements for the right person. You will collaborate with interstate offices and benefit from Watson Young's Career POD process and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience on commercial, mixed use and/or large retail projects.
• Proficient in Revit with strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned tasks on brief, on time and within budget across projects.
• Assist with documentation, specifications and schedules from concept to construction.
• Liaise with project teams and report progress to senior architects and leaders.
• Attend site visits and support contract administration and construction liaison tasks.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Contribute fresh thinking to design outcomes across the project team.
• Support project coordination tasks including meetings and minutes.
