You'll collaborate with dedicated veterinarians, veterinary nurses, customer care representatives and clinic assistants who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their devoted owners.

Although this role is to focus in ECC we are open to discussing a role that is a combination of GP and ECC.

The Role:
  • Permanent part-time
  • Combination of hospital shifts and consulting shifts

  • Supportive and collaborative team environment—if you're new to ECC, we offer shadowing shifts with experienced ECC vets to guide you
About You:
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in Queensland
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary practice, though it’s not essential
  • A strong team player committed to fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Eagerness to contribute innovative ideas that enhance the hospital’s growth and success
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Opportunities to apply for ECC Membership Preparation courses
  • Diagnostics, Surgeries & Medical Procedures may be performed in-clinic when the clinician is competent & referral is not deemed necessary for the patient's care.
  • Internal 1:1 membership tutorial sessions available for those pursuing membership
  • Continuous learning opportunities through case discussions with our specialists
  • Work alongside a large team of highly skilled veterinary nurses
  • Access to Greencross CE programs
  • Complimentary attendance at one of Australia’s largest veterinary symposiums—our own Greencross Clinical Symposium

  • A strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care across ECC settings.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
