Job summary

HealthX is recruiting an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse to work across Queensland's Darling Downs region. These short-term contracts offer varied postings in multiple hospitals, with competitive pay and the benefit of travel and accommodation arrangements provided by the agency.

Ideal candidates hold AHPRA RN Division 1, at least 1 year ED experience, ALS and ATS triage competency. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, patient-centred care in busy EDs and support

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (RN Division 1).
• Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Demonstrated triage experience using Australasian Triage Scale.
• Ability to recognise and manage deteriorating patients in acute settings.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary emergency teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across EDs.
• Perform triage assessments per ATS.
• Recognise and respond to deterioration and medical emergencies.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care in fast-paced ED.
• Administer medications and emergency interventions within scope.
• Collaborate with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
