Job summary

NSW Health is seeking ED physicians to join the Port Macquarie and Kempsey teams. You will provide quality clinical care, perform patient assessments, and carry out critical care procedures under supervision in a busy regional ED environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
• Commitment to rural and regional health understanding community needs.
• Ability to work independently in a supervised complex clinical environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem-solving within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical care and perform patient assessment and clinical examination of patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform necessary procedures for Critical Care patients under supervision of senior clinicians.
