Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital. You will lead clinical education programs, coordinate orientation for new and casual nurses, and work with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure standards are met.

The role focuses on delivering education, promoting safety and professional growth, and directly supervising at the point of care within a dynamic regional hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications with extensive relevant clinical experience or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to enhance nursing staff skills.
• Coordinate orientation and transition support for new and casual nurses.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager to align education with standards.
